Charter schools, like all public schools in California, receive funds from the State of California based on average daily attendance. The formula currently being used by the state to fund schools does not cover all of our needs for expenses, including salaries, facilities, and supplies. Through grants, parent fund-raising efforts and donations, we are able to fill in the gaps so that we can build and expand vital programs for our students. Clemente Charter School believes in a well-rounded curriculum, and we fund-raise to support programs such as PE, cultural enrichment, and technology resources.
We fulfill our fund-raising needs in a variety of ways. We offer events for community participation to support our school. For those who would like to assist with these events, please contact the school office by phone or email
Clemente Charter School parents and the community can also help by taking part in our in-school fundraising. Our parents and staff lead a variety of fund-raising efforts for the school that families, and other supporters can join. Additional information can be found in our Parent Connection that is distributed every two weeks, and appear on this website. Everyone can help by donating items on our classroom wish lists.
All donations to Clemente Charter School are tax-deductible through our non-profit charter management organization, Ingenium Schools. For your records, our tax ID# is 11-3794105.
Thanks to all who support the mission of Clemente Charter School!
